Training Church Leaders

The areas where we focus have few mature Christians with enough knowledge to teach and lead.  It is imperative to identify potential leaders among the converts and provide intense teaching.  Shedding the former religious culture does not happen instantaneously and renewing one’s mind is a process (Romans 12:2).  To this end, a formal 2-year bible school has been designed to prepare pastors to shepherd and lead and missionaries to evangelize and disciple.  Due to the current unrest, the school will be held regionally with homework assigned from the syllabus and a bible instructor meeting with a group for several days a month. The future goal is to have students come to our rural bible school (already constructed) for two weeks, four times a year, for two years.  Until this crucial training can be safely achieved, teaching will be done in three locations for a shorter time every month.
