We reluctantly say “farewell” to Angela, our bookkeeper, as she heads back to college to become a CPA. We wish her God’s best as she tackles this new season of her life. She has been diligently training her replacement and will be available over the months to help and guide Stacy through the intricacies of our bookkeeping. Angela came at a time of transition to a new, on-line accounting system and has done a fantastic job setting up systems and protocols. Thank you, Angela!

It is with joy we welcome Stacy Golden to our team!  Stacy has a decade of bookkeeping experience and was also the Director of Brooklake Childcare & Learning in Federal Way, Washington for seven years.  Her husband, Nathan, is a pastor at Brooklake Church – who also just happens to be a top-notch photographer.  Nathan has traveled to Ethiopia with Joy as a photographer, and we hope he’ll join us again on an upcoming trip.  Stacy and Nathan are parents to five children, the oldest is a young adult living on his own.

Stacy is a part-time assistant in the finance department of her church’s school and is the events director at her church.  She is also a licensed real estate agent.  However, her favorite activity is filling her home with scents of baking and watching her children’s faces light up when scones or molasses cookies come fresh from the oven!

Stacy has been studiously learning the ins-and-outs of our accounting system.  Her attention to detail and her organizational abilities leaves no doubt that NLE’s finances are in capable hands!
