In the last two months we have received several new babies at the Joyful Place orphanage in Shashemene.  All were found abandoned – near a fence, outside of a health clinic, by a mosque or in a church yard. Most every one needed immediate treatment at the hospital for either malnutrition or exposure.

What a privilege it is that God would give us the responsibility to love and nurture these babies, so precious to Him!  And we are not ashamed at all to tell you that we really need your help.  To care for orphans is your calling and privilege too!  But maybe you’ve never known quite how to do that.

We are seeking sponsors for six brand new babies.  For $50/month you will enable us to provide the formula, diaper changes, medical supervision and cuddles that they so desperately need until they are adopted by a family in Ethiopia.
