Our friends are the most generous bunch of people we’ve ever known! And we never want to take advantage of your big hearts. We know that some of you have an especially tender spot for the abandoned babies in our Joyful Place care center. This is another opportunity for you to help us provide formula for the six babies at our orphanage under 12 months old. The cost of formula has tripled and cow milk simply does not provide the nutrients these little ones need so badly.
Most of the babies in our care have been born prematurely or come to us in very precarious health. We want to be sure they are getting every advantage we can provide. Normally we take formula over when we visit but it’s been a year and a half since we’ve been able to travel and formula must be purchased in-country.
Any amount, big or small, will be so gratefully received!
