What is it that compels most of us to take stock of the old year, file it neatly away, and then lean expectantly into the new year?  For me, going back over what God has done the past 12 months helps develop new vision for the upcoming year and gives me courage to implement it.   Plus, it is so fun to remember!

NEWLIFE ETHIOPIA COUNTDOWN OF BLESSINGS

#10 – Water brought to area of a new church plant

#9 – Kindergarten resumes after months of closure due to Covid.   Vegetable garden flourishes next to the school for healthy school lunches.

#8 – Literacy programs started in villages with no school

#7 – Training center nearing completion that will train former M*slim believers as pastors and missionaries

#6 – 5 new house churches birthed in all-M*slim villages

#5 – University students from M*slim backgrounds dedicate themselves to Jesus via our website and social media outreach

#4 – Outpouring of support for 4 pastors whose homes were destroyed during M*slim uprising

#3 – 3 churches constructed in M*slim villages

#2 – 18 babies and toddlers adopted by Ethiopian Christian families

#1 – A mosque leader and his family came to know Jesus as Messiah – this strategic conversion has been a catalyst for others in his village to inquire about Jesus with many deciding to follow Christ.

The pastor who heads up our evangelism thrust in Ethiopia has a personal message for you:

I greet you in that precious, saving name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I would like to give a special thank you to our donors for your big hearts and determination to support us in your prayer and with your money. Really you did whatever you can without holding back, even in this hard time. You were committed to the area of soul winning and evangelism. It is an awesome privilege to help fulfill the Great Commission that our Lord assigned to His Church! This Commission goes beyond the borders of our assignment. Every believer is called to evangelize. My prayer is that you will continue to experience the abundance of God’s grace in everything. Thank you for partnering in advancing the Gospel in M*slim-populated areas of Ethiopia.
