We at NewLife Ethiopia are indeed blessed! Our U.S. staff works closely with an extensive Ethiopian staff who labor tirelessly to further God’s kingdom purposes. Each person God has provided to lead a specific program has brought vision, expertise and ability to impact the development of their ministry field.
We could not have a more loyal and trusted friend than Abebe Getachew, our in-country manager, who has been with us since our beginnings in 2007. Without the leadership of Pastor Zerihun (Muslim evangelism), Ephrem (orphanage director), Abonesh (head accountant) and Mikiyas (child/youth evangelism) coordinated under Abebe’s oversight, God’s work in Ethiopia would not be able to fulfill the exciting and challenging vision of changing people’s stories, one person, one community at a time.
