I have an update on our little baby Felmetuu… she is the precious little one who was left for dead on a riverbank as a premature newborn.
This is what she looked like when she was placed in our orphanage after a month in the hospital and a futile search for anyone who might know about her. It was estimated that she was about a month old when she came to the orphanage.  She weighed not quite 3 lbs.
Thanks to the generosity of several donors and her sponsor we have been able to provide Felmetuu with the preemie formula that she so desperately needs.  According to her July developmental report she now weighs 8 lbs!! What an incredible transformation in just three months!
Babies just like Felmetuu are often brought to Mana Gammachuu because the government knows they will receive great care. But every story doesn’t end like hers and several babies have died despite every effort to save them. We lost a baby boy earlier this month who was also born prematurely and who was very fragile.
By sponsoring a child monthly you will help us give life-saving care to an abandoned baby. Our sponsors know that, prayerfully, their sponsored child will soon be placed in an adoptive family and they will receive another child to sponsor and pray for.
